Comments are made on students’ work based on why concepts used by students may be theoretically correct but irrelevant based on the question context, incorrect links or expression, missing gaps in formulating the links etc. The comments are meant to help students identify and understand why these are mistakes and should not be repeated to support improvement in students’ answer presentation to ace the subject.

As opposed to reading just the answer keys, knowing one’s mistakes and not repeating those mistakes is a more effective way of learning. Afterall, each student has his/her own weaknesses and strength, where what is deemed as weakness for one student may not apply for another. Hence, it is important to uncover one’s mistakes and work on them to see improvement.
